Southrun 13 - Haunted III - All Night Vigil
Welcome to the final run for 2005 to Cornwall. Saturday 10th December 2005.
Southrun 13 will be a special event including a ghost hunt night at Castle Horneck Manor in Cornwall until 1am, and an all night vigil for those who want to stay on. Whether you want to attend just the day time run to Landsend or the Ghost Hunt in the night, this should be a good day out.
If you would like to attend, please let me know so I can get an idea of numbers
The Details
The full route details will appear shortly once I have finalised the ideal recommended roads and
route to follow, though this is at your discretion. I plan to start as we did in 2004 from Hayle
and take a drive along the north coast of Cornwall, finally reaching the Atlantic Ocean and Landsend,
We will then take a drive back along the south coast, possibly through Penzance and then on to
a local pub for some drinks. Those who have also booked a place at Horneck Castle can then stay on
for the ghost hunt. Places are still available but you do not have to do both.
I plan to start the event around mid-afternoon, which will be confirmed, possibly around 2-3pm and the evening event will take place from 8pm through to 1pm, and those who have booked for the all nighter will go on to the early hours.
The run will take the usual format, you attend at your own risk, Southrun is the three meets, one
during the afternoon, one at Landsend, and one at the pub at the end of the day, how you get to
those is totally down to you. A recommended route will be published here which you can use if you
wish. The ghost hunt after will be care of Haunted Cornwall.
