Review : Quite good customer service actually - which is at odds to the rest of the comments here. They went out of their way (or seemed to) to get me the car on time so that I could make a wedding with a flash new car. They also transfered my cherrished plate onto retention for me & gave me a reasonable deal on my old car. Did have to make a couple of trips for leaks that weren't fixed, and few other Lotus problems but never any trouble getting them to do it. Also - the first service after 1000miles - phoned up & told them I had been promised the service for free (I think I should have paid for parts), part of the deal I said - & in truth that is what I believed - later, quite proud of myself getting through the 'tough' receptionist I told my girlfriend & she told me I had got it completely wrong & had been told I would pay for parts. So anyway, I got it free (if by accident!) All in all, they were very good to me (especially preping the car in short period for collection)

Review : Placed an order for a brand new elise, handed over a thousand pound deposit only to find their finance agreement was nothing like their initial quote, foolishly i had no written quote. I tried talking to them to no avail, solicitors were involved and i was given the choice of an exspensive court case or to give in to the fact that i had lost my thousand pound deposit. Good scam, nice to hear if other people have had the same problems with this so called lotus dealership.

Review : Sales - If you don't look the rich man, they're not interested.

Service - Had various jobs done on my S1 over the last 4 years. Recommended all discs be changed, I asked about min thickness, hey presto, they'll be ok for another year. ?1500 for a steering rack and new exhaust!
Go to Ragtop, half the price and 10 times better service.

Review : Service Wise - They did some work on my car. It an insurance job and they did the bare minimum they had to do. Not the best job at all. Didn't even valet it and it was filthy inside.

Sales wise - They're too intent on selling 'Money' cars such as TVR's.

Now that Elises are dropping into the affordability zone they are losing interest. I was there cheque book ready and still 'he didn't think we could do a deal' - fine went elsewhere and gave them a p ex and a salesman ?4k of my money. Not bad for half an hours work but they didn't have the time for me even though the place was dead with customers.

Not recommended at all. If your in Derby/Notts go to Nick Whale.

Review : during a B service i got a phone call telling me that i needed new rear disks. I asked much and was given a price. turns out the price was per disk.

don't let them paint your car. my chrome orange 111s is not according to them (and the front clam certainly isn't now)

Review : When i recieved the final invoice for my new Elsie S2 there was ?750 delivery charge itemised on it! after phoning around i found no other dealer who charges this - i took them to task about it and got them to 'waive' the charge. However after sales service is better - they addressed all my minor problems quickly and without fuss, but the initial delivery charge fiasco leaves a bad taste.
