Glad to hear Phil is getting better, and apologies for not making training yesterday stuck in work.
Sarries Touch Rugby Starts next Tuesday (Mondays normally but it’s a bank holiday next week). They haven’t put us in a division yet, but its just like an intro night next Tuesday, so I think we’ll be placed then. Can people please email me or confirm with me that they are coming just so we have a side. If anyone needs lifts gimme a ring 07886 259704. Not sure whats happening with kit, so if you can please bring a just a plain black shirt, I’ll bring a few if no-ones got one. So please email me or ring me or text me to confirm your coming, thank you.

Hi All just to let you know that Phil is Ok. We went to the trauma clinic today and it was a trauma(for me anyway!) he didnt want to wait as he has been used to 5* service in spain he was less than impressed with the 4 hrs he spent in Heath! He has had his ankle reset and is now in a full leg cast and being waited on hand and foot literally!! We would like to thank everyone for all the help and support provided whilst he was in spain and since he has been back home especially Parksy for the endless supply of KFC and Beer Phil is eternally grateful! and D and Stu for getting him through the airport so quick. I will bring him up the club to see you all soon. He has said that if he does not see you before he will see you all at the dinner. |

If anyone is driving to the airport on Friday and are planning to park there, last time we did this it cost us about £30.00. I have just booked to park at the Highwayman in Roose, for four days it's £15.00. They will then take you to the airport, and then pick you up on Monday and drop you back to the car. Well worth it. |

As some of you are aware i'm trying to enter us into a touch rugby league this summer. The matches are on Monday evening as we will be starting in division 4 (bottom division)earliest k/o us 6:30pm latest is 7:45pm. Basically as Fuss told some of us on saturday its £200 to enter and the club will give us £100 towards it and then we have to pay the rest. Basically its 7 a side with interchangable subs with 12 in the squad. If we get 12 it'll only be £8 each. The season is only 2 months long and its good fitness to keep you going over the summer, so you'll be ready for the Union season 08/09. All games take place at Llandaff Norths ground and i dare say there will be lifts. So far we have 5 definates so would preferably like a few more to definately commit. Sorry wasn't at training last night boys, had to work. Won't be at the game Saturday either as i'm going up to watch the Ospreys revenge on Leicester in Twick. Good luck against Bargoed, will also be missing training next week unfortunately as i'm away in London, but will be training hard ready for the fairwater game at every given opportunity. Who do i email my nominations to for the awards?? And random question, aimed at Dicko i suppose, where's the cheapest place to get a new car tyre round Roath side of Cardiff?? |

Hello All,
Game arranged for Saturday against Bargoed. We're playing home at Llandaff fields, those are the ones at the end of Cathedral Rd., Pontcanna, as our changing rooms are temporarily out of commission for the rest of the season. Kick off is 2:30 so can we meet in the clubhouse for 1pm latest so we can get down there in time.

This Saturday (12th) there is a Captains/Club Night.
It will be a Treasure Hunt with a difference (beer !!) starting from the Tavi at 6:30pm and lasting approximately 2 and a half hours

Guys,
Been murderous trying to get a game for Saturday, as all Cardiff teams booked.
Therefore we are playing Ferndale II's at their ground.
To get there you need to head up to Ponty, then through Porth, up through Wattstown and then follow the signs. When in Ferndale there are signs for the rugby club.
Meet in Tavi for the latest 12:45 as will need to be leaving straight away as it's a good 35min drive and we need to be there for 1:30. Any problems then please let Stu know
Hope you are all well after last nights game, unlucky but the commitment shown was superb. |
