111sgearbox problems in hot weather

anybody got any tips to help me stop fighting to get in gear in hot weather

Yes, it sounds like a dry part of the linkage. If you get the under tray off, you'll see the gear linkage, one going off to an L bracket that moves back and forth. You need to loosen off the nut,put some grease in there and then tighten back a bit. You may need to experiment as you tighten as too tight and you'll get the same problem. That'll fix it I expect. Fairly easy but awkward. Use a grease that won't dry out or it'll come back. Bit of Molly should do it.

thanks Paul,am over £300 lighter in the old purse having had braided clutch hose fitted but I love my Lisee again
