Oversize fronts

Has anyone here had any personal experience of fitting oversize fronts on the mk2 elise?

On my wheels it's perfectly ok to go up 20mm so in this case to the 195's. I undersand it will make the initital turn ina little less sharp and will reduce understeer slightly. I'm not a maniac on the road so the reason is purely to get the great looking AD048's on the car.

I've had advice saying don't change them but also saw a review of the 111S on top gear where Gavin Kershaw from Lotus suggested going oversize if you wanted less understeer.
